Kiana “KC” Cook is a multidisciplinary artist, cultural producer, and practitioner of street and social dance forms from the African diaspora. She is a MFA in Dance candidate at the University of Michigan. Her practice engulfs curating events, emceeing shows, battling in dance competitions, performing and teaching which she has done in countries such as Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Singapore, and Malaysia. KC’s chosen home is Chicago where she has helped cultivate the Krump community since 2017.
