Kathryn Heinze is an Associate Professor of Sport Management. Her research seeks to understand organizational and institutional change. In particular, she examines tactics, strategies, and processes by which individuals and organizations respond to and lead social and cultural change in their fields and industries. Heinze studies these dynamics in a variety of contexts, particularly those related to sport, health, and food. She earned her MA and PhD in management and organizations from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and her BA in organizational studies from the University of Michigan.
