Golbie Kamarei, Global Program Manager, Sales Excellence, BlackRock

Golbie Kamarei HeadshotGolbie Kamarei is the Global Program Manager for BlackRock’s Global Client and Sales Excellence (GCSE) Program. BlackRock is the world’s largest asset manager with $4.3 trillion assets under management and over 11,000 employees in 30 countries. Her responsibilities include developing and implementing sales talent management and training strategies for BlackRock’s global institutional and retail client businesses.

Prior to her current role, Golbie Kamarei was a founding member of the BlackRock Investment Institute (BII) where she served as a Knowledge Strategist and Business Manager. In this capacity, she was responsible for developing strategies and leading programs to share investment knowledge and insight across the firm and with clients. She held leadership roles in several key global Human Capital/Talent Development initiatives including the BlackRock Investment Excellence Program, the BII Investment Research Development Program, and the Human Capital Innovation Committee. Golbie also served as Vice Chair for BlackRock’s NY Women’s Initiative Network and NY People and Culture Committee. She earned her BA in Psychology from Stanford University.

In April 2013, Golbie founded the BlackRock Meditation Program which offers mindfulness and meditation training and resources to over 1300 employees in 17 countries. Golbie leads employees in guided meditations twice a week and conducts workshops on applying self-management skills to high-performance environments. She has also led guided meditations and workshops at other multinational firms as well as at the U.S. House of Representatives.
