Managing Director, Sanger Leadership Center | University of Michigan
Brian is Managing Director of the Sanger Leadership Center at Michigan Ross. Sanger’s mission is to build a more connected, creative, and prosperous world, one leader at a time. Through thought leadership and transformative experiences, it develops leaders with the mindset, skill set, and personal vision to make a positive difference in the world.
Immediately prior to joining Michigan Ross, Brian served at Grand Valley State University as associate director of the Hauenstein Center for Presidential Studies and adjunct professor in the School of Public, Nonprofit, and Health Administration. During his nine years at Grand Valley, Brian co-founded the Cook Leadership Academy, the Wheelhouse Talks, and Leadership University, an online forum where students plan, synthesize, and showcase their development efforts.
Brian holds degrees from the University of Notre Dame and Grand Valley State University, but he owes his steepest learning curve to his wife, Lauren, and daughters, Ella and Avery.
