Transforming a Company from Within

The reports of its decline have been greatly exaggerated. Manufacturing is still the backbone of the American economy, supporting an estimated 17.4 million jobs. However, roughly 90% of those jobs are with small and medium-sized firms that lack resources to effectively track market forces and invest in new growth platforms. Their future is unclear. Christie Wong, CEO of Mac Arthur Corporation – a 50-year-old, medium-sized supplier of custom labels and die-cuts – will tell the story of her company’s 10-year transformation. It began with a focus on positive work culture and operational efficiency. It continues with the aspiration of mapping on-ramps to a thriving future for itself and other American manufacturers.
