Lisa grew up in the restaurant business in Cleveland, OH. She came to Ann Arbor, attended and graduated from the University of Michigan, and in 1993 co-founded Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea.
Today, Lisa is the CEO of Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea, the Ann Arbor-based cafes specializing in globally inspired, real ingredient focused beverages, and fostering positive community engagement. After 25 years of refining operational systems, marketing, and product development, Lisa is leveraging her experience as she grows Sweetwaters into a national franchised brand. Lisa enjoys working with her team and brings a philosophy of working hard and having fun at work. Together, her team and franchise partners continually make Sweetwaters all about loving your day.
