Tau Investment Management is defining a new class of equity investor—the “Sustainability Advocate.” Tau invests in factories in production hotspots around the world, then actively works with factory owners and managers to help improve working conditions and reduce environmental impact as a means to increase profitability. Josh Tanenbaum will describe Tau’s “capitalist solutions for capitalism’s failures” while striving to deliver superior returns to its investors.
