Detroit is a city with a fabled history and a global reputation for its creativity and culture. Recent generations have seen significant challenges, including battered local industry, a shrinking population, and municipal bankruptcy. Yet this is not a story that ends in defeat or surrender; it is a story of revitalization that exemplifies the principles of positive business demonstrated by key area leaders applying different skills, resources, and strategies all leading to progress in the revitalization of Detroit. The session will highlight the efforts of corporate leaders, entrepreneurs, and NGO innovators who are all doing more than their part to reinvigorate the city of Detroit.
