2023 Positive Business Conference Update

The Positive Business Conference will not be held in 2023 and will move to a biennial schedule beginning in 2024. This transition is conducive to maintaining the high level of insightful perspectives, esteemed research, and world-class experience that attendees have come to expect from the Positive Business Conference.

Stay connected with the Center for Positive Organizations through the Positive Links Speaker Series and revisit archived videos from past conferences for valuable information on the science and practice of thriving organizations.

Where does the Positive Business Conference take place?

The Positive Business Conference takes place at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business located at 701 Tappan Street, Ann Arbor, MI 48109. Main sessions are held in Robertson Auditorium, on level one. Workshops will take place in classrooms throughout the building on various levels.

When does the Positive Business Conference take place?

The conference will begin with registration at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 9th, and the final session will wrap up by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, May 10th, 2024.

What types of sessions can I expect?

Content at the Positive Business Conference will be frequently interactive, and as inspiring and practical as possible. The agenda will include many opportunities for informal connections to be made between participants.

How can I connect prior to the conference with others who will be attending?

One week prior to the conference, we will provide you with our current Participants List, which includes contact information for those who have chosen to share it. We hope this enables you to network and build community.

How do I get there, where can I stay, and where should I park?

What if I have dietary restrictions?

At every meal, vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options will be provided. If you have dietary restrictions beyond those listed, please note them accordingly on your registration form in the space provided.

What should I wear to the conference?

What does the registration fee cover? 

The registration fee covers access to sessions from inspiring leaders in both thought and action. Also included are all refreshment breaks, breakfasts, and lunches, as well as dinner on Thursday.

What is the registration cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel your registration once you have paid in full, please notify us in writing at pbconference@umich.edu. Refunds will be processed within two weeks of receiving written notification. A $100 service fee per registration will be deducted from your refund. Unfortunately, we will not be able to process any refunds after 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24th, 2024.

How long is registration open?

Early bird registration with discounted pricing is available through February 28th, 2024. Regular registration will remain open until 11:59 p.m on May 7th, 2024. We are unable to accommodate registrations after this deadline, including on-site registration.

Do you sell one day passes?

We are unable to offer one day passes, as the presentations and learning content are
intricately interlaced.
