Amplifying Human Enterprise: How might we find uplift amid upheaval?
The Positive Business Conference Amplified will provide a deeper exploration of how leaders can harness the potential to create supportive structures and practices that foster well-being. We
will share real-world examples, evidence-based tools, and cutting-edge thinking about creating compassion, connection, purpose, and meaning as part of an organization’s ecosystem of long-term value. We will explore how we find uplift in a time of upheaval and amplify a human-centered approach to global enterprise.

The conference will begin with registration at 7:30 a.m. ET on Thursday, May 9th, with the final session wrapping up by 5:30 p.m. Keep checking back for exciting announcements of additional sessions between now and the conference!

An onstage conversation with thought leaders in the field, led by Monica Worline, Faculty Director, Center for Positive Organizations.

Amplifying the Human Enterprise through Art, Resistance, and Community
With the University of Michigan Arts Initiative and artist-in-residence Heather Raffo.

An Emerging Human Community: Learning-by-Doing Together
An interactive, hands-on experience that offers attendees a chance to meet a group of others interested in amplifying the human in human enterprise.

Bittersweet and the Human Enterprise: A Conversation with Susan Cain
Scholar and co-founder of the Center for Positive Organizations Jane Dutton leads an intriguing exploration of how the bitter in life is a necessary and essential part of life, and why bittersweetness may be the perfect space for thriving in human enterprises.

12:00 – 1:30 p.m. ET
Lunch and Human Playspace
A chance to meet others, mingle with those you already know and rest and reset with some playful invitations to try out new ways to elevate our humanity.

1:30 – 2:00 p.m. ET
Tapping Into a Human Culture for Human Enterprise
Mainstage inspirations from University of Michigan marketing professor Marcus Collins along with human enterprise leaders are at the forefront of creating and sustaining human cultures in human enterprises.

2:00 – 3:00 p.m. ET
Learning-by-Doing-Together: Exploration Time 1
Move through the conference space together with the community of people you met in the morning and engage in some hands-on making to encourage application of the theme to your human enterprise and tap your creativity and growth.

3:00 – 4:00 p.m. ET
Learning-by-Doing-Together: Exploration Time 2
Choose from a number of application-oriented workshops taught by world-renowned faculty from the University of Michigan, including topics such as:

An onstage conversation led by Associate Dean for Executive and Corporate Relations Gretchen Spreitzer about the centrality of community and the need for community generating, tending, and re-generating at the heart of amplifying the human in human enterprise.
