Jeffrey Sanchez-Burks

Dr. Jeffrey Sanchez-Burks is Professor of Management and Organizations at Michigan Ross. He received his PhD in Social Psychology from the University of Michigan with graduate training in Cultural Anthropology. Previously, he was on the faculty at the University of Southern California and has had visiting appointments at universities in Singapore, France, Turkey and Russia. He is currently the Faculty Director of the Office of Action Based Learning, and serves on the editorial board of Organization Science and the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology.

Professor Sanchez-Burks is an award winning scholar and executive educator who has taught leaders in over 30 countries around the world working in diverse areas including banking, arts & entertainment, government intelligence, manufacturing, and medicine.

His publications focus on topics that include leading change, innovation/creativity, leading cross-cultural teams and emotional intelligence. His research has been featured in the TED* series, The Wall Street Journal, New York Times, National Public Radio, The Harvard Business Review, and ABC.

JSB was born in San Francisco, raised in Los Angeles, and lives in Ann Arbor.
